NEW PACS AND WEB PRODUCT

We are currently transitioning to a new web server that will deliver significant improvements to this part of our service.  During the transition period, you may notice some delay in image retrieval, particularly with CT Scans. If you have any problems, please call your local practice.

Lake Imaging has commenced Geelong's first and only SPECT-CT service.
This hybrid imaging modality combines the sensitivity of nuclear medicine with
the anatomical localisation of CT to provide highly accurate diagnoses. The CT part of the examination is undertaken with a fraction of the radiation dose of conventional dedicated CT. SPECT-CT is superior to conventional nuclear medicine examinations (and
to stand-alone SPECT) for a large number of common indications (listed over page).
