Dr New graduated from The University of Melbourne in 1995 and undertook radiology training at Monash Medical Centre. In 2003, he completed an advanced training in MRI and musculoskeletal radiology at The Canberra Hospital.
On return to Victoria, he has worked as a consultant radiologist for Western Medical Imaging and Ballarat MRI. Dr New joined Lake Imaging after its acquisition of Western Medical Imaging in April 2011.
Dr New has a special interest in cardiac CT, neuroradiology, musculoskeletal and body imaging.
