Our Communities

Lake Imaging’s Corporate Responsibility Program began as a staff initiative to coordinate our company’s charitable fundraising. It has since evolved into a coordinated effort to make real improvements in people’s lives by concentrating on specific community organisations.

Each year, our staff fundraising efforts and corporate giving, focus on local charities of choice. We contribute significant funds to help make a difference in our local Ballarat, Geelong, Warrnambool and Melbourne communities.

In 2013, our corporate responsibility expanded internationally with the establishment of the Tonga Radiology Twinning Project, where Lake Imaging staff travel to Tonga to provide training and education to local employees. Similarly, Tonga staff visit our facilities in Australia learn and gain valuable insight.

In 2014, we donated the first mammography unit to the nation of Tonga. This unit is enhancing diagnosis and improving treatment for local women with breast cancer. We continue to support the medical teams of Tonga with scanning equipment and medical supplies.

To continue this relationship, in 2021 we have organised for an ultrasound machine to be shipped to Tonga. We also included a donation of much-needed medical supplies such as syringes, needles, gloves, gauze and more. We are proud to support communities in need.
