Dr Linda West
Dr Linda West trained in diagnostic radiology at the Alfred and Royal Children's Hospitals in Melbourne. She completed her radiology training at Kings College Hospital in London and then worked as a Specialist Radiologist at The Maudsley and Atkinson-Morley Hospitals in London. Returning to Australia she joined Geelong Radiological Clinic and subsequently St. John of God Imaging. She has also worked in private practice for Geelong Medical Imaging. Linda has a particular interest in all aspects of breast imaging and intervention, and has been Director of Geelong and South West BreastScreen since its inception in 1992. She is also a Visiting Medical Specialist to Geelong Hospital and St. Vincents Hospital in Melbourne and enjoys teaching medical students and registrars. She is regularly invited to speak at national multidisciplinary breast conferences. In 2008, Dr West undertook a fellowship in breast MRI at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, University of Washington School of Medicine. Linda is now the Clinical Director of Breast Imaging for the Geelong Breast Clinic Lake Imaging.
